Mission
Government Polytechnic, Dahod is one of the centers of quality education in the field of technical education in Gujarat. The college was established in the year 1959 and has been functioning well since then. The college offers Diploma Engineering degrees in six branches:Civil, Mechanical, Electrical,Computer, Electronics and Communication and Computer-Aided Costume Designing and Dress Making, all 6 semesters (3 years) programme . At the end of successful completion of all the semesters a student is awarded a Diploma Engineering degree by Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad - one of the forefront universities of Gujarat.A highly special feature of Government Polytechnic, Dahod is that it is thoroughly well designed and is having a wide campus which provides a zealous and peaceful environment for a convenient learning for students. It is located quite near to Dahod Central Bus Stand and Railway Station, which makes it possible for the students of nearby districts to gain access to this outstanding educational institute.
The institute also offers separates hostel facility for boys and girls students of the college, where they can adjust very soon due to homely atmosphere.
