Programme Duration: Three years.

Title of Degree: DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING.

Vision:
To impart quality education in electrical engineering to meet industrial and societal needs

Mission:
  • By inspiring students to develop skills in electrical engineering field as per industrial and societal needs.
  • By developing ethics, moral and value based professionalism.
  • By motivating young minds to acquire and updated knowledge continuously and learn to apply it.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES(PEOs)

PEO-1:Improve/develop the Electrical engineering systems that are technically sounded, economical and  Socially environmentally acceptable.

PEO-2:Exhibit professionalism, ethical attitude, team spirit& peruse lifelong learning to achieve career and organizational goals.

PEO-3:Provide sound theoretical and practical knowledge of Electrical engineering to develop managerial and entrepreneurial skills which enable students to contribute to the well-fare of society.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES(PSOs)

PSO-1:Identify the electrical problems and trouble shoot them by applying principles and fundamentals of electrical engineering.

PSO-2:To test, operate, supervise and maintain the electrical systems.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)

1. Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.

2. Problem analysis: Identify and analyse well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.

3. Design/ development of solutions: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.

4. Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.

5. Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.

 6. Project ManagementUse engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined engineering activities.

7. Life-long learning: Ability to analyse individual needs and engage in updating in the context of technological changes.
