PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES(PEOs)

PEO-1:Improve/develop the Electrical engineering systems that are technically sounded, economical and  Socially environmentally acceptable.

PEO-2:Exhibit professionalism, ethical attitude, team spirit& peruse lifelong learning to achieve career and organizational goals.

PEO-3:Provide sound theoretical and practical knowledge of Electrical engineering to develop managerial and entrepreneurial skills which enable students to contribute to the well-fare of society.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES(PSOs)

PSO-1:Identify the electrical problems and trouble shoot them by applying principles and fundamentals of electrical engineering.

PSO-2:To test, operate, supervise and maintain the electrical systems.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)

1. Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.

2. Problem analysis: Identify and analyse well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.

3. Design/ development of solutions: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.

4. Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.

5. Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.

 6. Project Management: Use engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined engineering activities.

7. Life-long learning: Ability to analyse individual needs and engage in updating in the context of technological changes.

Labs


About Lab:-
This is the main lab where experiments like load test on various machines, speed control tests, open circuit tests, short circuit tests, etc are carried out and also wide variety of practicals are performed here with combination of different rotating machines. 

Major Equipments:-  
Rectifier, motor-generator set, motor- alternator set, induction motor, synchronous motor, variety of transformers, lamp  loads, resistive loads, compound machines, tachometers, voltmeters ,ammeters, wattmeters, megger ,frequency meter, synchroscope, rheostats, variety of starters,DC motors,etc.
About Lab:

This is the lab where basic electronics, analog, microprocessor  and digital experiments are conducted. Students are made familiar with analog and digital circuits and their intended use in various applications.

  • Digital Storage Oscilloscope
  • Chopper
  • Three Phase Rectifier
  • Different Trainer Kits
  • LCR Meter
  • 8085  Kit
The department has  computer laboratory with 10 computers. Computers are configured with INTEL (R) CORE (TM) i3 - 2120 CPU@ 3.30GHz, 2 GB RAM, 1 LCD Monitor.  Internet  facility is available. 

This laboratory contains various types of Electromechanical, Static and Numerical/Digital Relays mounted on panels for analysing the protection of power systems.

This facility available for the students of our institute to execute the course work of Project and to prepare Micro project under various course.
